4 Months Already

Watching a little Baby Einstein

The boys are already 4 months old, where does the time go.
They had their appointments and shots yesterday and did very well. I think their mommy may or may not have had a tear or two watching that :)

Wilson-
Weighing in at a hefty 17lbs. 4oz, and 25 inches long. He is right on track with all of his milestones. He loves to jabber and has such a sweet little voice. He is truly a joy, and I can't imagine my life without him. He continues to struggle with his reflux and bouts of apnea. The Dr. increased his meds and we will try monthly to wean him off. We are also considering helmet therapy for his "flat head", after unsuccessfully attempting to correct it with physical therapy and the help of a chiropractor. Despite all of the little issues, Wil is such a happy baby. He's so ticklish, and has such a cute little giggle. He started using his exersaucer this past week, and LOVES to get in there and pound away on the toys...he's all boy. He also really enjoys his bumbo seat while watching Baby Einstein (getting his chunky legs out after is a whole different story). After his very busy days with Daddy he goes to bed around 9 and sleeps until 7:30 (give or take an hour). We are still trying to get the napping bit down.

Drew-
Weighs 16lbs. 3.5ozs and is 25.5 inches long. His head is off the charts (but I think it looks very proportionate, and Daddy swears it's just full of brains). Drew is so layed back and just such a happy baby. We know if he's crying something is definitely wrong. He's still my snuggler, and loves to cuddle his mommy after his last bottle of the night (or whenever you'll just sit and hold him). He is quite the giggler these days, and usually starts laughing if he hears someone else laugh. Drew too, enjoys the exersaucer, but not to the extent that his brother does. He would sit in his bumbo seat for hours if we'd leave him, but when he's done he's sure to scream and let you know he's had enough. Drew is my great sleeper, going to bed around 9 and often sleeping until almost 9. He loves to watch t.v., particularly the Detroit Tigers (making his daddy proud).

They will both begin baby food on Friday, so life is about to get very interesting in the Blakeslee house :)

The boys got to meet their uncles over the past 2 weeks. Andrew Patrick was named after both of my brothers Andrew & Patrick (Two of my favorite people). We've had a very busy summer so far, I swear my boys will be two of the most social kids with as much coming and going as they've done in the first four months of life.

We are so blessed to have such sweet, healthy and happy babies. We don't take any of this for granted, and praise God for them daily!!!

Please continue to keep Dan's job situation in prayer, we are really hoping to have something break here pretty quickly. I am dying to stay home with my boys!

They are very handsome boys!! Four months sure does fly! From a mother whose son's head was off the charts, Drew looks fantastic and very proportional! I agree with Dan, it is the size of the brain!
