Where has the time gone? I can't believe they are already 2 months old. This has truly been the best 2 months ever, and I'm sure it's only going to get better. God has truly blessed Dan and me.
Wil and Drew had their 2 month appointment and SHOTS today. They were troopers, Wil screamed a little more than Drew, and mommy could have cried harder than both of them...that was a horrible thing to put a mom through.
At 2 months...
Wilson is 22.5 inches long and 12 lbs. 9.5 oz. (Yes he WAS my little guy). He also has severe acid reflux, and has given us some pretty good scares (choking and quitting breathing). Tomorrow we start physical therapy with this little guy for his stiff neck (torticollis and flat head because of it :( ). He is also going to start seeing a chiropractor because of his neck, acid reflux and constipation issues. Apparently reflux can cause a baby to sweat...this child sweats like a grown man and screams to let you know he's too warm...so on a 50 degree day, we can be seen driving around town with one baby bundled up and the other in a onesie with his window down. Despite all of his "issues" he is a pretty happy baby (now that we finally figured out what to feed him to help his tummy). He is full of smiles and giggles, contrary to what you may believe with the pictures on here. Right now he's enthralled with our ceiling fan and any bright colors (particularly daddy's Red Wings hat). The boys are also sleeping 9 hours at night, so Dan and I are in heaven!!!
Drew is 23.5 inches long and 12 lbs. 1 oz. This child is healthy as a horse and has virtually no ailments, unlike his brother. Drew also is full of giggles and smiles. He is such a happy baby (if there was a picture to go with the definition of "easy baby", I'm convinced his would be there). He's a very snuggly little guy and loves his silky (thanks to his Auntie Jenny) and his blankie from Grandma Blakeslee.
We are so blessed.
Please continue to pray for Dan's job situation. I only have 3 weeks left of maternity leave and am having horrible anxiety about returning to work.
